This highly interactive one-hour practical manual handling risk management course focuses specifically on the tasks you perform, as workers in the childcare industry. You have unique physical demands and working environments because you manage children and operate in an environment, using equipment and furniture set up for little bodies!
Manual handling risk management is not only a legislative requirement, but also smart business practice, demonstration of a safety culture and promotes longer-term health and wellbeing. We all perform manual handling everyday in everything we do, so learn new skills to recognise the activities that put stress on your body (manual handling hazards), practice new ways of moving and discover how you can manage the manual handling risks.
