About this training
This one hour practical manual handling risk management course is a must for us all, whether working in a designated workplace, at home, offsite or remotely. This course can be provided as an Induction Program or Refresher Training for current staff, to offer participants skills training for application at work and home.
Manual handling risk management is not only a legislative requirement, but also smart business practice, demonstration of a safety culture and promotes longer-term health and wellbeing. Learn why and how effective manual handling risk management is a “WIN-WIN” for all, by understanding the evidence and seeing real worksite examples throughout this course.
We all perform manual handling everyday in everything we do, so learn new skills to recognize the activities that put stress on your body (manual handling hazards), practice new ways of moving and discover how you can manage the manual handling risks.
