The National Quality Framework is made up of three main components. First, there are the National Quality Standards – which outline the Standards that Early Years Education and Care Services must comply with in order to operate by law.
Then there are the National Laws and National Regulations – and these make the Standards into legal obligations.
Guides – To make it easier to understand the Standard, Laws and Regulations, the government has produced a Guide to each of these and we recommend you consult the Guides when you want to know more. There should also be hard copies available at your service.
