About this training
This course has identified the need for Sexual Harassment Prevention training in response to the recommendations from the Respect@Work Report, subsequent Federal Sex Discrimination Act legislative changes and employer obligations to prevent sexual harassment conduct under Work Health and Safety legislation, Industry Codes and National Guidelines.

Learning Outcomes of this course include:
- Learners will be able to understand the Respect At Work roadmap that informed the legislative landscape and the ‘why’ in the prevention of sexual harassment
- Learners will be able to revisit their understanding around gendered violence and what constitutes sexual harassment under the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 (Cth) and describe the types of behaviour
- Learners will have an understanding around their new positive legal obligations to prevent and respond to sexual harassment
- Learners will be able to identify sexual harassment that occurs in connection ‘at work’ including online conduct
- Learners will be able to understand and recognise third party actor impacts around sexual harassment including ancillary liability, victimisation, preventing a hostile work environment and bystander intervention
- Learners will be able to identify reasonable and proportionate measures in which to prevent and respond to sexual harassment and related conduct
