About this training
This course has identified the need for Sex Based Harassment training in response to the recommendations from the Respect@Work Report, subsequent Federal Sex Discrimination Act legislative changes and employer obligations to prevent sexual harassment conduct under Work Health and Safety legislation, Industry Codes and National Guidelines.

Learning Outcomes of this course include:
- Learners will be able to understand the Respect at Work context, and the ‘why’ in the prevention of sex-based harassment
- Learners will be able to revise their understanding around sex discrimination and be able to recognise conduct that amounts to sex-based harassment
- Learners will have an understanding around their new positive legal obligations to prevent and respond to sex-based harassment
- Learners will be able to identify relevant behaviour that occurs in connection ‘at work’ including online behaviour
- Learners will be able to understand and recognise third party actor impacts around sexual harassment including ancillary liability, victimisation, preventing a hostile work environment and bystander intervention
- Learners will be able to identify reasonable and proportionate measures in which to prevent and respond to sex-based harassment and related conduct
